A man has been driving the same road for years. In the fog, he always sees a car in front of him, thinks it's someone else. Only at the end he realizes: it was always his own life that was driving in front of him - and he just watched it, instead of directing. When the fog lifts, the road is empty. Hope was standing on the edge all the time, waving, but he thought it was just fog.
